We work for a policy on plastics in Denmark – and in the rest of the world

Plastic Change works hard on documenting plastic pollution, communicating the problem and in connection to this mobilizing people for action and pointing out solutions. We seek, where possible, partnerships across industry, governments and environmental organizations. Visionary partnerships across traditional borders are essential, when it comes to ending a problem as complex as plastic pollution. We can go part of the way by voluntary actions, but we cannot fulfill the aim without some of the solutions be founded on legislation.

Plastic Change acts for influencing decision-makers in Denmark, in the EU and in the world. The basis of this work is already existing initiatives such as The Honolulu Strategy and Commitment which Plastic Change has signed, the EU announcing an actual strategy on plastics in January 2018, the latest proposal for a Danish policy on plastics and forums for collaboration such as the UN Global Programme on Marine Litter (GPML), in which Plastic Change is a partner.
